On July 23, "Workshop of Canadian Seafood and Chefs' Cuisine" witnessed a nice mix of premium aquatic items with top Cantonese cooking at Tianlun Hotel in Guangzhou.
The event was sponsored by Canadian Consulate General in Guangzhou, involving some 60 catering professionals.
Canadian officials, including Acting Canadian Consul General Mona Ip, introduced the abundant marine resources and premium and natural seafood from Canada.
Five executive chefs from five premium hotels in Guangdong cooked ten state-of-art dishes out of five Canadian aquatic products like lobsters and crab in the presence of the guests.
The event was co-organized by "Hotel·Yummy" and Guangdong-HK-Macau Chefs Society, with support from some Canadian seafood organizations and fishing authorities.
